Theatre Aurinko (meaning “sun” in Finnish) was created by Finnish-Canadian theatre artist Bonnie Duff for the purpose of the production of her play, This Feels Like The End, at the 2024 Next Stage Festival. With artist-administrators Bonnie Duff, Michelle Blight, and Sabrina Weinstein making up the producing team, Theatre Aurinko is a new, female-led theatre collective in Toronto, aiming to produce provocative, urgent works that illuminate novelty and inspire curiosity for artists and audiences- or simply brighten the lives of those creating and witnessing it.
